Contravirus got back on June 2007!! We see Contra Virus activity again. Don’t get fooled by this corrupt antispyware. Trial version of Contravirus software only allows scanning a computer, but it actually is able to scan a part of all files, but not whole discs. Another disadvantage is that ContraVirus database is out of date. New parasites attack computers everyday, so security programs should be updated very often to keep up with new infections. ContraVirus can’t detect parasites newer than six month old as well as big part of old parasites. Don’t waste your money for inactive software. I installed Webroot spysweeper brand new out of the box!
On a fresh install of windows,,and it scanned and found nothing!
But,,When I clicked the update on Webroot,instantly Contravirus was installed!!,,it then disabled webroot and was scanning my pc!
ok,,so I shut down and reinstalled windows,”Clean install”Again,,I then re installed my cd of webroot spysweeper,,and ran a scan and once again it found nothing,,so I clicked the update again,and same thing again!!
Contravirous pops up??,,
so I took Webroot back to bestbuy and got Norton!!! And have no trace of contravirous now?,,so where did it come from? and where did it go?,,I say it came from Webroot spysweeper install cd!!! by God!!
