Misleading security alerts is an inherent part of rogue programs. This kind of alerts basically provide false information about your security issues expecting that you will take this information for granted and perform other steps that it is telling you to do.

Windows Antivirus Pro is a wildly spreading rouge antispyware program that also uses such security alert to mislead computer user into thinking somebody is trying to attack your PC. The message looks like this:

“Internet attack attempt detected:
Somebody is trying to attack your PC:
This can result in loss of your personal information and infection other computers connected to your network.

You must be aware that this message is absolutely fabricated. Instead of trusting the information it states you should scan your system with a reputable antispyware program and make sure to remove Windows Antivirus Pro rogue program.
