Protection Center

Protection Center is a rogue antispyware program that pretends to be a virus removal tool but in fact doesn’t have any useful functions. It enters the system secretly through Trojan viruses. The Trojan configures the program to start automatically when computer logs in to Windows. Then Protection Center loads system scan and pretends to look for infections. Once the scan is done, Protection Center generates a list of imaginary infections and tells to remove them by purchasing a full version of a program.

What is more, Protection Center generates false pop ups warning about harmful viruses detected that pose risk to your private information. They are just as fake as the scan results by Protection Center. So please ignore these messages and make sure to get rid of Protection Center as soon as you detect it running on your computer.

In case you have already made a payment for this scam application, please don’t hesitate and contact your credit card company to dispute charges.
