SiteVillain¬† is a fake anti-spyware application and a clone of the rogue program called AntiAID. This application is classified as a rogue because it uses fake security alerts, deceptive advertising and attempts to trick you into thinking it’s a legitimate software. When installed, SiteVillain will be configured to start automatically each time you turn on your computer. Once running, the rogue program will scan your computer and display a variety of infections that cannot be removed unless you first purchase this bogus software. As we already know, these infections are all fake and are only being shown to scare you into thinking you are infected with Trojans, adware, spyware and other malware. To make things worse, Site Villain will displays fake security alerts and impersonate Windows Security Center. It will claim that your computer is not protected and that you should activate SiteVillain to ensure full system protection and remove found system security threats. Of course, this is a scam. Do not pay for this fake application because it is absolutely useless. Instead, use trusted and effective anti-spyware application to remove this infection from the system as soon as possible.
