The future of internet. GoogleNet

Lets stop for a while and think about the future of internet.
What are the new Google services?
Google Books, Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Talk…
Google Sitemaps, Google Analytics, Google Desktop, Gmail, Orcut…
So now Google has complete control over the website via sitemaps, and… complete control over your business via analytics. Now they know from where you get the traffic, what do you do with your site, how popular it is…
Orcut… so in the near future Google will know with whom you are connected, who are your friends. If you will upload your pics, Google will know how do you look like…
Gmail… Let google see with whom you are talking, show them your closest relationships..
Toolbar… So Google knows what sites you are visiting… with all this info its not so hard to create psychological profile of every user…
Desktop… So now people will give access to all the files in their harddrives…
Click to Call functions … So what is the future of mobile phones?… Google can launch so called GoogleTalk phones which will connect to internet and you will talk for free with anyone anywhere…
it could be great to get Google Earth in real time 🙂 Maybe they have it, just dont give it to users :).
We are starting to live in quite interesting GoogleWorld..

Do you still think that you can hide? 🙂

I have read that google buys up layed out networks for building network infrastructure, so it can have total control over some part of the net. Perhaps it will go to internet providing business like AOL. I guess it is true – we see the battle for THE internet operating system, the ultimate interface to the net, that is controled from one place in the world. The mainstream solutions will be controled by giants like google, microsoft or yahoo, and only niche markets will remain.
