Win 7 Anti-virus 2011 is a rogue antispyware program that belongs to Braviax family of rogues. The program is changing its name and can also appear on your system as Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011, Win 7 Home Security 2011, Win 7 Security 2011 and similar names. Irrespective of the name they all work the same. The program imitates being a security tool as attempts to convince you into purchasing its full version.

The application enters systems imitating security updates for Windows. Then it installs its executable and configures itself to start automatically when Windows is launched. Basically the program takes over the system and you are not able to use any other programs and hardly perform any actions. The program pretends to look for infections and reports to find tons of malicious files. Afterwards, it recommends purchasing a full version of Win 7 Internet Securitym Win 7 Total Security, etc. in order to eliminate all infections that have been detected. In reality, such version of the program doesn’t even exist and it only attempts to trick you into thinking you have protection problems and later on swindle your money away.

Besides, while it is running on your system, it will cause you tons of security warnings and pop up ads that provide fake information about security status in your system. Basically they state that your system has been infected by a Trojan virus or some other kind of threat. Al of them lead to a recommendation to purchase any of the mentioned programs as a security tool and scanning your system with it.

Once you notice it on your computer, please make sure to remove Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2011, Win 7 Home Security 2011, Win 7 Security 20 11 as soon as possible. In case you have paid for it, immediately contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
