Windows Accelerating Utility is a fake security tool that works together with fake Microsoft Security Essentials alert and infects computer systems in order to get money from computer users. Everything works very simple. The fake alert warns that your system contains a Trojan. It threatens that this might compromise your private information or damage computer. The program suggests running system scan with Windows Accelerating Utility.

If you choose to do so, the program will simulate scanning your system and then report about detecting tons of infections. To remove infections you will be offered purchasing a full version of Windows Accelerating Utility. Actually it’s only a trick that attempts to get your money. Basically, if you pay for it, they will charge your credit card and you won’t get anything as it doesn’t work as a security tool.

The same situation will be repeated and the only way to stop those crazy actions is removing Windows Accelerating Utility itself. In order to do so you will have to use a reputable antispyware program and run a full scan with it. Otherwise, it will keep annoying you with the same security messages and fake scanners.Also remember that a good computer protection helps to avoid this kind of infections so make sure to have you antivirus and antispyware programs updated all the time.
